Picture yourself drifting below high limestone bluffs on the clear waters of the Buffalo, enjoying the serenity of a day on the river, watching the wildlife, stopping to swim and picnic, and counting the variety of trees and wildflowers along the shore. It’s as easy as presenting yourself at our office on Highway 65 at Silver Hill. We take care of all you need. You just sit back and enjoy.

Buffalo River Outfitters is Located

U.S. 65 at Silver Hill in the middle river district of the Buffalo National River. Silver Hill is the location of the Tyler Bend access, which is home of a Buffalo National River visitors’ center and campground.

We rent canoes complete with paddles and personal flotation devices, provide shuttle service in our bus or your vehicle, we have rafts for rent, and will even shuttle your private canoes with ours if you call ahead for reservations.

Your journey with us can last for a few hours, or it can be an extended adventure vacation.

Large Groups Are Our Specialty

Our experienced people will make your group’s river outing easy.

We offer float trips from March 1^st until Labor Day. May, June, July, are peak season and it would be wise to reserve your boats in advance for weekend floats.

National Park Service Requirements

Arkansas State Law prohibits all glass on or near Arkansas waterways; all beverages must be placed in a FLOATABLE container, such as a can coolee. All ice chests must be secured, with a bungee cord or rope, so that contents stay put in the event of a tipped canoe. Styrofoam coolers are not allowed. All children 12 and under must wear their lifejacket while in the canoe.
