National Park Service Requirements
Arkansas State Law prohibits all glass on or near Arkansas waterways; all beverages must be placed in a FLOATABLE container, such as a can coolee. All ice chests must be secured, with a bungee cord or rope, so that contents stay put in the event of a tipped canoe. Styrofoam coolers are not allowed. All children 12 and under must wear their lifejacket while in the vessel. We recommend that everyone wears a lifejacket while in the vessel.
