The soft creak of saddle leather and the clomp of horses’ hooves won’t cover the noise a woodpecker makes drilling in a dead snag off to your left or the splash in the water up ahead as a turtle, sensing your approach, slides off the log where he’s been sunning. It’s the most relaxing way of all to see the Ozarks and we’ll treat you to rides for hunting and fishing trips as well as riding for its own sake over miles of local trails.
We schedule one hour, two hour, half day, and all day guided trail rides. Trails meander through a 1,900 acre tract along Bear Creek where you’ll see towering limestone bluffs, peaceful valleys and wooded hillsides. Our native guides know a lot about the flora and fauna of the region and can identify many plants and trees for you as well as share interesting facts and lore about the wildlife you’ll see.
Riders must make advance reservations, supervised riding classes are available for children 12 and under.
Our comfortable cabins make a perfect place to stay for a complete Ozarks vacation. Combine your trail riding with hunting, fishing, floating, hiking, day trips to nearby attractions, and swimming.
This is not your typical canned trail ride. You are individually guided so we can tailor the ride to your individual skill level and interests. If you are a family with children we have the horses and the ride just for you.
If you are an experienced horseman, you won't be disappointed. If you want to bring your own horse we can board your horse for $15 per day advanced reservations are required (please provide a negative coggins).
We can also do overnight trips, and combo horseback - hunting trips. We have 1900 acres of private property to explore. The property includes Bear Creek, with its bluffs and spring fed water, open pasture land, and beautiful forests, which provide a shady place to ride during the heat of the summer.
